On February 23, 1982 at 10 am, highway workers found a body lying in wooded are on the east side of I-95 north of Doswell, Virginia in Hanover County. The man, likely of South American origin, was shot and had been there approximately three months.

Description: Old cholecystectomy and appendectomy scar; oblique old scar right anterior hip; decomposition is such that tattoos if present could not be identified. Gallbladder and appendix have been surgically removed ; an old scar, with unknown cause for surgery, of right anterior hip. White ski sweater with gray and red horizontal band across the mid chest over a green t-shirt bearing the legend “Someone went to Florida and all I got was a lousy T-shirt; brief underwear. New tan cowboy boots and brown support socks. Gold crucifix with attached corpus on a chain necklace, Wedding band with inscription 4-14-75 Lucy TJ1 18k. Ring shows 3 thin circumferential grooves with a pattern of cross hatching grooves 1/8″ apart. Seiko wrist watch with days of the week in Spanish. Day of the week reads Dom.
