Having worked in TV production, I am very skeptical of any advertisement. But I will be honest that there are two talk show hosts who can affect my shopping habits – Dave Ramsey and Clark Howard. These guys use the products they advertise. Whereas most other talk show hosts don’t. I hear a lot on the radio about American silver eagles and gold products. They claim they are great if the dollar is floundering. But you know, what do people want in an emergency? Do you see people looting for gold coins? No, they loot for food and other things. Gold coins are just as worthless as the Confederate dollar.
To get back on topic, is there a personality out there whose word you trust?
I would definitely trust Dave Ramsey and Clark Howard, but I still trust a good Google search for myself before buying stuff.
