You have one week to shop for my birthday. I really don’t need much. I always ask for maid service, but that never happens, so here are some other ideas:
Gift Certificates
Seriously. I know some people think it is TACKY, but I love them. I get to pick my own clothes. Just make sure the store is in my area and caters to fat people.
Personalized Jewelry
For Mother’s Day one year, I took the money I got and bought myself a Mother’s necklace. It is a silver cross with the kids’ birthstones and mine. I didn’t add DH. However, I do have a “I love my fireman” charm I wear with the cross. Stick with silver or white gold though.
Take My Kids
For a day. I want to sleep in and sleep and sleep some more.
Now, if you have the money, I could also use enough money to fund the family’s emergency fund or pay for the down payment for a home near the folks. Also, Lasik surgery would be cool.
Just saying. Not that I expect anything.
