Scum Media

Last week four Boy Scouts were killed after a tornado hit the wilderness camp where they were staying. It was a tragedy and officials were waiting to tell the next of kin before releasing the names.

Well, that wasn’t good enough for CNN. Apparently they interviewed one of the Boy Scouts who rescued some of his friends at the camp. After telling this boy how wonderful he was for saving his friends, they asked him if he knew any of the dead, at which point the kid gave the names of a couple of the dead. Can you imagine finding out a family member died by watching the news instead of hearing it from family?

Nice CNN. Real smooth.

    wow, that is pretty shi**y.
i stopped watching the news after my 3rd anxiety attack in a week though… our media is so shock and fear based that i had enough.

When I was in ROTC, one of our cadre was dating a cadet, took out a life insurance policy on her, killed her… when the police were zeroing in on him, he rented a plane and purposely crashed it killing himself.

I had met his wife and kids at several social events and attended his funeral to support them. The media was there too. I thought the same thing you have written about in this post. Heartless ~
