When my kids were little, I used to take them for a week of camping each summer. Within the first 24-hours, my son would have a new best friend and they would be inseparable until we headed home. But we adults, I think, having been hurt at various times, build walls to keep out more hurt. In the process, we miss out on blessings God is sending our way. We'd all be better off if we stopped trying to protect ourselves and just trusted God to do it. I know just what you mean, Lisa.
